Chicago Radio Host Dan McNeil Fired For Comments About ESPN's Maria
Taylor

Posted Wednesday, September 16, 2020 3:57 A.M.

After posting a tweet on Monday night, 670 The Score radio host Dan McNeil was fired
by Entercom, the parent company of 670 The Score. In his following tweet, McNeil didn't
hold back on his opinion of ESPN's Maria Taylor outfit which she wore Monday night
during the NFL's New York Giants/Pittsburgh Steelers game.

McNeil deleted the sexist tweet later that night but the damage was already done. Taylor
later took to Twitter on Monday night to address McNeil's tweet.

Since Monday, Taylor has received a outcry of support from her fellow colleagues, celebrities,
other female broadcasters and fans.

On Tuesday, Entercom's Chicago Area Regional President Rachel Williamson released the
following statement regarding the firing of McNeil:

Taylor has been with the network since 2013 and has appeared on numerous shows on ESPN the
past few years.
