Woman Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assault Of Disabled Man

Alyssa Jade Hooks was arrested by the Louisiana State University Police on
Monday for alleged sexual assault of a traumatic brain injury man. According
to the police report, Hooks drove the victim to an area near New Orleans and
then to LSU's campus in Baton Rouge on March 25, 2019 and sexually assaulted
him twice during the drive. The victim told police that Hooks forced him to
have sex with her and threatened to leave him stranded on the side of the road
if he refused. In the report, police wrote "It should be noted that the victim
has a medically documented traumatic brain injury that makes it difficult for
him to act and/or make decisions in stressful situations. Additionally, this
injury causes the victim to suffer from seizures". It also mentioned that the
victim froze up when Hooks assaulted him and he was unable to defend himself.
Hooks was arrested on charges of third-degree rape (LA RS 14:43) and booked into
East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a $40,000 bond. The 22 year old posted
bond on Tuesday at 1:22 P.M. and was released according to the East Baton
Rouge Sheriff's Office.
