Former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin Released On Bond

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis Police Officer charged with the murder George Floyd has been
released from jail on a non-cash bond today. He was released from the Oak Park Heights Minnesota
Correctional Facility.
Chauvin is last remaining of the four police officers charged in the murder of Floyd back on May 25.
He is charged with 2nd degree & 3rd degree murder as well as 2nd degree manslaughter for using his
knee on Floyd's neck for nearly 10 minutes.
