Absentee Ballot Request Are Now Available Online Posted Thursday, May 14, 2020 All registered voters in New York City can now apply for an Absentee Ballot to vote in the upcoming June 23 elections. Under Governor Andrew Cuomo's Executive Order (202.15), this option is available to prevent the community spread of COVID-19. The Election Law was modified to allow for electronic application, with no requirement for in-person signature or appearance to be able to access an absentee ballot.
