Woman Spits On 7-Eleven Counter After Being Told To Wear A Face Mask

A woman was caught on camera spitting on a 7-Eleven counter on Monday after the
cashier refused to complete her purchase because she was not wearing a face mask. The
unidentified woman became upset and started cursing at the cashier, saying "I don't
have a mask". She went on the say, "We have a right in America not wear a *** mask,
don't you watch the news". The cashier had asked the woman kindly, "I'm just telling
you to get a mask on."
The City of Fort Worth face mask mandate went into effect June 26 at 6 P.M. The mandate
states that "Any person over the age of 10 that works in a business, is entering a
business or is in an outdoor area where social distancing is not an option. Additionally,
any individual who is outdoors in a crowd of 100 or more people must have a face covering
on". A statewide face mask mandate went into effect today by Governor Greg Abbott.
"Law enforcement and other persons with lawful authority will advise an individual if they
are not wearing a mask and they may be asked to leave that location if they do not comply"
